Responsible for overseeing and coordinating direct sales and marketing activities for assigned hotels. Create and maintain a highly energized selling culture and collaborate with hotel Directors of Sales and General Managers to develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to grow revenue and market share. Success is measured through achievement of revenue goals and improvement in market share.
A Bachelor’s degree (B.A) from a four year college or university; or four to five years hands-on property level sales experience is required, preferably in upper mid-market hotels. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple people in a demanding, fast paced and ever changing environment. Ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service is necessary. Computer knowledge including intranet, Property management system, WORD, and EXCEL is strongly preferred. Must have valid driver’s license, and acceptable driving record subject to company approval.
