    Buffalo Lodging Associates is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. We are a fully integrated hotel development and management company. Currently operating 48 select service hotels under Marriott, Hilton, Choice, IHG, Carlson and Wyndham franchise agreements, our portfolio is continuing to grow rapidly. This means endless opportunity for our associates to grow professionally as they take on increasing levels of responsibility. 


    This position will execute digital business and merchandising strategies that are consistent with corporate goals as well as those of the brands we represent. This position reports to the Director Digital and IT Strategy and interacts with General Managers, Directors of Sales, Regional Directors of Sales, Revenue Managers and the VP of Sales and Marketing.




    Principal Responsibilities:


    • Execute digital strategy in alignment with the target customer and business goals of driving visits, conversion, bookings and revenue through brand and third party digital channels. Ensure that brand digital initiatives are in line with strategy.
    • Execute digital marketing campaigns such as branded website promotions, email promotions, display marketing campaigns and paid search campaigns.
    • Research, develop and deploy SEO strategies aimed at driving increases in qualified traffic to brand hotel websites.
    • Maintain awareness of all brand standards and guidelines and make sure they are implemented for all assets before they are deployed to digital channels.
    • Manage content publishing process utilizing Sharepoint tracking system to track content approval and status of each task.
    • QA all content prior to publishing and after it is live.
    • Stay abreast of market drivers and movements in the local area surrounding each hotel and apply this knowledge to your work.
    • Perform routine audits of brand and third party websites for an assigned set of hotels and resolve issues including factual and grammatical errors, misalignment with brand standards, poor and missing photography, merchandising opportunities, SEO opportunities, etc.
    • Assist in opening of new hotels by coordinating content submission to brand and third party websites, search engines, etc.
    • Track digital marketing performance metrics in centralized reporting database. Assist in analyzing and interpreting the data and make suggestions for performance improvement.




    BA/BS Required


    Coursework or degree related to marketing with specialization, coursework or internship in digital marketing or communications preferred.


    Interest in the hospitality industry preferred.


    Exceptional customer service skills.


    Analytical, business minded.


    Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.


    Strong familiarity and comfort with web, mobile, and tablet environments.


    Ability to understand and communicate complex concepts.


    Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office. 


    Excellent written and verbal communications skills.


    Must be organized and detail oriented.
