Primary function is providing administrative support to the Sales Dept. This person will also have responsibility for revenue production for the hotel, meeting or exceeding planned revenue objectives for RevPar, occupancy and average daily rate (ADR). Must utilize a “hands-on” approach to be actively involved on a daily basis in maintaining current accounts as well as securing, qualifying and following up on leads to refer to the appropriate Salesperson.
A proven track record in cultivating business relationships and strong prospecting skills is ideal. A minimum of two years hotel experience is strongly preferred. Hospitality and customer service experience are a must. Ability to develop an understanding of concepts, practices, pre-established guidelines and procedures used by the company in relation to guest service is a plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary. A demonstrated commitment to superior guest service is necessary.
