  • Overview

    Buffalo Lodging is seeking a success driven, enthusiastic Full-Time Task Force General Manager to join our team!  The Task Force General Manager will serve as acting General Manager of hotels in transition and provide ongoing support to our hotels and corporate office.

    General Summary:
    In this position you will travel to properties within the assigned areas (MA, CT, NJ, NY, RI, OH, FL) to provide strong short-term leadership and oversight at different locations. The Task Force General Manager will be responsible for the overall success of the hotel; including financial performance, ensuring optimal guest satisfaction and product quality, and developing and retaining strong associates.



    • Must be able to fill in for General Managers within an assigned area where there’s a vacancy.
    • Assume full responsibilities as the acting General Manager, managing all revenues, cost controls, team development, staffing, conflict resolution and all facets of the daily operations.
    • Foster a positive, cooperative work environment between all team members.
    • Assist with the training and onboarding of new General Managers.



    • This position requires flexibility and willingness in taking on new assignments in different locations and extensive travel and extended work hours as needed.
    • Qualified candidates will have at least one year of property level, General Manager, Hotel Manager or AGM experience; preferably with Marriott, Hilton, or IHG hotels.
    • Familiarity with analyzing profit and loss statement and other financial data is essential.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Must be accustomed to working on the floor and not managing from behind a desk.

    This position requires substantial travel by car and air (up to 100%).
